About
Alyssa’s current portfolio spans notable organizations and events, including the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research (CANFAR) — with signature fundraisers like Bloor Street Entertains, Can You Do Lunch?, and the newly launched Vancouver Entertains — the Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards (CAFA), the Institute for Canadian Citizenship, Soulpepper Theatre, OCAD University, the Alzheimer Society of Toronto, and Mosaic and the Ride to Conquer Cancer. She also manages corporate and private events on Centre Island, along with projects affiliated with Burstyn Inc. and Misette.
Alyssa’s passion for events was sparked through involvement with large-scale productions such as the Much Music Video Awards, the Virgin Mobile Festival and Wakestock World Series on Toronto Island, and the Toronto International Film Festival — where she continues to work the red carpet at Roy Thomson Hall, 25 years later.
Her notable collaborations also include Andrea Anders Inc. (3 Magazine and the Institute for Canadian Citizenship), Bassett Events (Joe Carter Classic, Garrison Ball, ComKids’ Celebrity Mixer and Masquerade Ball), Distillery Events (including but not limited to industry nights and open houses), Notable Life and the Notable Awards, City MOGULS, Coveted Co. and Dîner en Blanc, as well as the Toronto 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games.
